When one thinks of Acupuncture, the image of the human body being needled in an apparently random way is perhaps the most stereotypical view of Chinese medicine.
For most people this may seem like a bizarre therapy, but in the East, acupuncture has been a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years, and it is still a part of modern day health practices.
My skills as a trained practitioner of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture may alleviate some symptoms, by complimenting other health modalities. Or it may offer support, in conjunction with other medical treatments.

ACUPUNCTURE
The basic idea behind acupuncture is that the insertion of very fine needles into points along the Meridians on the body may help to alleviate some signs & symptoms of pain or discomfort.
MOXIBUSTION
This is a technique which entails the application of heat from herbal substances known as Moxa, at acupuncture points. When lit, moxa burns slowly & provides penetrating heat similar to applying a heat-pack or warming liniment.
ACU-LASER
CUPPING
An Acu-Laser is the synergy of using a Cold Laser on Acupuncture points instead of the insertion of needles. This may be a useful alternative for those who are sensitive or needle phobic.
This is a technique where cups of varying sizes are attached to the body and the suction draws the blood to the surface of the skin.
Cupping may cause bruising to the skin.
